Folklore Museum in Dietenheim near Bruneck
Follow in the footsteps of our ancestors across the extensive open-air grounds of the folklore museum, try out ancient utensils, admire the old water mill and get a feel of the era of our grandparents.
Here you will find a permanent exhibition featuring the late Gothic works of Michael Pacher, his co-worker Friedrich Pacher and their scholars Simon and Veit von Taisten. Furthermore, there are temporary exhibitions as well as a graphic cabinet allowing young artists to put their work on display.

The waterfalls in Rein in Taufers
The three waterfalls in Rein in Taufers offer an impressive natural spectacle. The Franziskusweg (St. Francis’ Path), which provides a unique opportunity for reflection, runs uphill alongside the meandering river all the way up to the third waterfall. By car, it takes approx. 30 minutes to reach the path from Olang.

The powers of erosion of water, frost and winds have created these astonishing and probably unique natural wonders amidst the debris of the glaciers of the Ice Age. Visit the earth pyramids in the Höllergraben outside Platten / Oberwielenbach (approx. 6 km), in Terenten (approx. 30 km) or on the Ritten above Bozen (approx. 100 km).
