Embedded where the upper Pustertal broadens, at an altitude of about 1.000 m above the sea, the four urban districts of Olang (Oberolang, Mitterolang, Niederolang, and Geiselsberg) invite you to sojourn.
While Oberolang, Mitterolang, and Niederolang lie on flat meadows and fields, Geiselsberg looks down from the mountainside of the Kronplatz. Dark woods on friendly hill summits, behind them the rocks and edges of the Dolomites, in the north a view onto the Rieserferner group with the Hochgall glacier, and from east to west the green Pustertal. In summer it’s the hikers, ramblers, walkers, in winter it’s the skiers on slopes and tracks who always find what they are looking for.
Lying in the heart of the natural park Fanes–Sennes-Prags, with the Rieserferner and the natural park Sextner Dolomiten nearby, Olang is the ideal departure point for the most beautiful rambles and hikes.
