The Hotel Post Tolderhof disposes of its own riding area and is a real highlight for horse lovers. Our main aim is it to offer well trained horses to our guest, so that everybody can enjoy going for a ride. We are training thoroughbred horses and the Haflinger, which is a typical breed of horse developed in South Tyrol. Haflinger horses are fairly small, always chestnut in color, well-muscled, but with an elegant appearance and the perfect companion for your Horse Riding Holidays in South Tyrol. They are used for harness work as well as endurance riding, dressage and therapeutic programs.

Thanks to our indoor riding arena it is possible to book a Horse Riding Holiday also during the cold winter months. We offer various riding courses, for children and adults, beginners and advanced riders. Lessons also include the basics of how to deal with horses, such us cleaning, saddling, etc.

Beginners get taught to build up confidence in the horse, so that the riding becomes autonomously. Advanced riders can test their abilities on the cross country course.

Besides that you also have the possibility to drive out with one of our horse carriage.
